Can I order more than 5 books in one order?
Yes, you can, please contact us directly at info@peacockpicturebooks.com with your personalised order, and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a quote for shipping.
Do you ship globally?
At the moment we ship to the UK, Europe & the US for more details please see our shipping page.
If your country is not listed on our shipping page and you would like to place an order, please email us at: info@peacockpicturebooks.com and we can provide a quote for shipping.
What is the cost of shipping to my country?
We have decided to make shipping cost as efficient as possible for our customers. Therefore, we have given you an option to choose between First, or Second-Class delivery. We send all our orders via Royal Mail. Please see our shipping page.
How long do books take to arrive?
We aim to ship orders within 2 days of receiving your order. Please see our shipping page for Royal Mail delivery times.
I'm in Europe. How does shipping now work post-Brexit?
Peacock Picture Books are based in the UK and since BREXIT unfortunately additional charges including VAT and Customs fees are now payable.
Customs clearance charges and fees may be payable on our books entering the destination country including the EU from the UK. These depend on the contents’ value. The parcel won’t be released until payment has been received.
Since July 1 2021, items valued at under €22 sent to the EU are now subject to VAT or duties.
Commercial items/goods (excluding personal correspondence) sent to the EU over €22 and below €150 may be taxed at the border and may incur a customs clearance/handling fee in the receiving country.
The customs authorities in the destination country and the customs thresholds in place determine if charges are due on imported goods.
The levels and thresholds of charges vary from country to country.
Unfortunately, we are unable to include these charges within our website shipping costs as these vary from country to country. Therefore, it will be the responsibility of the customer to understand and pay these charges when ordering and receiving our books. Please note that the parcel won’t be released until the payments have been received by the local customs / VAT authority.
Can the shipping materials be recycled?
Yes, the cardboard envelopes we use are recyclable.
Will the books arrive to me in perfect condition?
We pack our books very securely to ensure that our customers receive their books in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that our books are damaged or faulty, please see our return policy.
Why don't you ship to my country?

Will I be charged import duties?
If you live in Europe, there will be additional VAT and Customs fees to pay on your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to include these charges within our website shipping costs as these vary from country to country. Therefore, it will be the responsibility of the customer to understand and pay these charges when ordering and receiving our books. Please note that the parcel won’t be released until the payments have been received by the local customs / VAT authority.
Outside of Europe, the majority of countries do not charge additional import duties and VAT for books. However, it will be the responsibility of the customer to check and pay any fees.
